Is there any vetting that takes place to ensure that education experts are not currently working for another agency, or intending to use Sofiri's institutional relationships to act as a sort of sub agent?
Yes. We check every prospective expert's profile on Linkedin, if they do not have a Linkedin profile, they cannot apply. We also hold a phone interview to ensure expert is being genuine about their current employment/employer status.
Beside the work we do in terms of making sure we do not have any conflict of interest by recruiting current agent counsellors, we also exclude from applications any individual working with an education provider that has a direct link to international student recruitment, e.g. a recruiter.
